Unfortunately, there is no magic potion to cure cellulite but there are ways to reduce its appearance which is the next best thing.
Here are a couple of things to try at home…
In a previous article, I talked about cellulite massage or deep tissue massage as a natural way to reduce the appearance cellulite.
AND this is something you can actually do at home by using a foam roller …
Its thought that the use of a foam roller helps compress fat cells making the skin appear smoother.
You can use a foam roller on upper arms, buttocks, and thighs.
Some foam rollers come with instructional videos showing you the correct way to use it so you can get the most out of it.
If you don’t think a foam roller is quite your thing you can always
try a more gentle approach to massage – dry brushing.
Its not a shower brush…
The brush needs to remain dry to keep the bristles hard in order to exfoliate, so brush before you get in the shower.
It’ll add a few extra minutes to your shower routine and it may feel odd at first because the bristles are so stiff but stick with it, it gets better and it may even feel relaxing. I love it.
Experts suggest exfoliating in an upward motion towards the heart, so start at your feet and work your way up each leg, then your torso and chest and finally exfoliating your arms towards your armpits.
100% natural, organic scrub….
Using an exfoliating scrub can also heIp reduce the appearance of cellulite and I’d recommend First Botany Cosmeceuticals Arabica Coffee Scrub.
Caffeine is cellulite’s #1 enemy and its been shown to reduce the appearance of cellulite if applied repeatedly.
Made from 100% natural ingredients such as organic coffee, organic coconut oil and dead sea salt, First Botany Cosmeceuticals Arabica Coffee Scrub will leave your skin feeling soft andsmooth without any nasty chemicals and it smells delicious!
